This document enables the creation of Sub (Account) names, which are subordinate to the main account names established in the General Ledger Chart of Accounts document.
Select either the BALANCE or TRADING Ledger.
Select an established MAIN account code.
Enter an appropriate name for the new Sub Account to create.
Optional dissection percentage.

General Ledger Chart of Sub Accounts
Purpose: This document allows the user to establish a Chart of Sub Accounts.
Prerequisites: The Chart of Accounts must have already been created via the General Ledger > Chart of Accounts document.
From Ledger: Type in, or search for (using the F12 button), a Ledger key from the set BALANCE, DEBTORS, INVENTORY, PAYROLL, TRADING, WIP.
Ledger: Displays the Ledger as selected in the From Ledger field. Main: Type in, or search for (using the F12 button) an existing General Ledger Account Main account. Sub: Establish a key (name) for a Sub Account. Name: Type in the long name for the account. This is used for presentation in reports. Percent: For various calculations, e.g. Payroll Revenue Dissection
From Here: Transactions can now be processed against these sub accounts.
